Video data - Do you take a copy of the data (views and comments) before deleting a version for good?

Sometimes you have multiple versions of a video as you improve it. Normally you would zz’d the title of old versions. But if you need to delete a video, then it is important to take a copy of its data - views and comments can be simply emailed to the Product Owner prior to deletion.
